Join us
Join our pioneering team at the University of Manitoba to advance research on climate risks and impacts. We welcome applicants at all levels from diverse backgrounds, including civil engineering, water resources, climate science, agronomy, geography, statistics, or related fields. We value a range of perspectives and expertise. If you are driven by curiosity and motivated to make impactful discoveries, we encourage you to apply.
In our lab, students will be trained to collect, organize, and analyze geospatial and socioeconomic data; conduct empirical and numerical modeling; and write professional research documents. In addition to technical skills, I will offer tailored guidance on project management, communication, leadership, professional writing, and networking to ensure that each trainee achieves their career development goals and makes a significant contribution to the team. Several project options are available; to understand the work we do, please see examples of Research and Papers.
